The HueHub has officially emerged out of stealth to address Miami’s urgent housing crisis.
To understand the significance of such a development, we must take into account how more than 60% of renters in Miami-Dade County are spending over a third of their income on housing, the highest percentage in the nation. In fact, some of them are even spending more than 50% of their income on housing.
According to certain reports, the stated launch makes for a mixed-use project, which spans 509,447 square feet on approximately 12 acres. More on that would reveal how HueHub will feature seven striking 35-story towers comprised of 4,032 thoughtfully designed and furnished residential units. The community will also include nearly 200,000 square feet of interior amenities, as well as a two-acre park with extra amenities.
Located at 8395 NW 27th Avenue, the development places residents within close proximity to essential amenities and transit. You see, it is just 20 minutes away from multiple universities, colleges, and technical institutions, with world-class hospitals also just a few minutes away.
Markedly enough, the HueHub is also designed as a Transit-Oriented Development (TOD). This translates to how nearby transit options include the Northside Metrorail Station and the Tri-Rail, located approximately one block away so to provide direct access of Miami International Airport, Downtown Miami.
“By addressing the region’s housing challenges head-on, this project serves as a groundbreaking example of meaningful urban development,” said Pablo Castro, The HueHub’s developer. “We’ve brought together the best minds in design, construction, and community planning to create a purpose-driven community that will set a new standard for attainable housing. This carefully curated team of experts was brought together with the common goal of delivering an exceptional model for housing.
In essence, the HueHub stands atop four key pillars. Talk about these pillars on a slightly deeper level, we begin from the property’s thoughtful community-centric design.
The HueHub prioritizes a pleasing aesthetic which innately comforts and inspires residents, creating an environment which feels like home from the moment they walk in. It features, for instance, natural lighting, green spaces, along with modern, functional interior, each component contributing towards a serene, welcoming atmosphere.
Every detail, right from the color palettes to the layout of communal areas, focuses on promoting relaxation and a sense of belonging.
Next up, we must dig into how the HueHub also arrives on the scene as highly self-sustainable. We get to say so because the project packs together eco-friendly materials and energy-efficient systems in its construction to ensure minimal environmental impact. Furthermore, it employs green building practices such as water conservation systems and sustainable landscaping to create a legitimate platform for responsible urban development.
HueHub will also encourage sustainable living among residents by preaching practices like recycling, shared, and reduced energy consumption.
Another detail worth a mention is rooted in the potential for community support. As most Miami’s middle class residents often face long commutes, limited access to wellness services, and a lack of communal support, the HueHub integrates essential amenities and thoughtfully designed spaces to make daily life easier, and therefore, help residents focus on themselves, rebalance their priorities, and thrive.
Expanding upon the availability of amenities, they include dedicated communal areas like show kitchen, a library, gardens, and relaxation lounges that will foster a sense of connection, allowing residents to build meaningful relationships with their neighbors.
Beyond that, there is an Arts and Culture Space, which can educate residents, host art exhibitions, cultural workshops, and creative classes to offer opportunities for artistic expression and cultural enrichment that nurtures creativity and promotes lifelong learning.
The property also features an onsite Learning Center to provide a vital resource for both children and adults. This space, for better understanding, will create a productive environment to complete homework activities and excel academically, as well as opportunities for adults to continue their education, attend skill-building workshops, and access online courses.
Moving onto our final pillar, it is HueHub’s bid to make things financially accessible. Hence, the property cuts down on housing expenses to give residents the freedom to live fulfilling lives.
As for the future, the HueHub plans to establish a school which will serve residents in HueHub and the surrounding community.
