Prime Hospitality Group, a vertical of Prime Group, has officially confirmed that its Faro Blanco Resort & Yacht Club property is joining the Curio Collection by Hilton portfolio. Under the given update, Prime Hospitality will receive a $14 million renovation across its accommodations, amenities, and restaurant offerings. Located in the Florida Keys city of Marathon, Faro Blanco Resort & Yacht Club joins its sister hotel, Courtyard Faro Blanco Resort on the same property, where it will collectively feature 250 guest rooms at 1996 Overseas Highway. Talk about the given renovation on a slightly deeper level, we begin from the promise of enhanced accommodations where customers can access spacious accommodations with stunning bayside views of the Florida Keys. In essence, the property in question will feature 125 generously sized guest rooms, with each room markedly designed for modern comfort and bearing a 42″ wide-screen TV, sleeper sofa, complimentary WiFi, luxury skin and hair amenities, a mini fridge, and a contemporary bathroom. Within the said space, there will be available Premier King Rooms that deliver natural wood tones, plush bedding, and tropical-inspired art. In total, these rooms will be able to accommodate up to four guests. There is further available a pair of Premium Queen Rooms that are given a modern coastal living space with two queen beds and a sleeper sofa, making them ideal for up to six guests. On top of that, each room is also going to include newly added coffee bars, vanities, and workstations for convenience and luxury.
Moving on to talk about amenities, they include four outdoor pools, including an infinity pool which offersan expansive setting for sunbathing and recreation. Furthermore, guests can expect to enjoy sunning beach access, and at the same time, they can also tap into snorkeling and fishing charters through the resort’s exclusive partner Faro Blanco Marina, A Suntex Experience. During the latter stages of 2024, the property will even get a whole new full-service spa to let the guests indulge in serene treatment rooms and a curated selection of island-inspired therapies crafted from fresh botanicals and marine extracts. Once launched, this spa facility will join an already-established state-of-the-art fitness center with diverse workout options, including weekly yoga classes on the beach. Beyond fitness and general wellness, the resort is focused on providing over 40,000 square feet of reimagined meeting space. Having said that, regardless of whether it’s a expansive event lawn or the marina-view pool deck, the facility’s breathtaking waterfront vistas and chef-curated culinary experiences are prepped up to elevate every event.
We referred to the facility’s culinary experiences, they include a thought towards various tastes and preferences. You see, its El Farito restaurant can serve customers with handcrafted coffee, fresh pastries, breakfast favorites, and convenient grab-and-go items daily, offering a perfect start to the day. A Lighthouse Kitchen + Bar, set against the breathtaking backdrop of the historic Faro Blanco Lighthouse and marine, delivers at your disposal ultimate coastal dining experience. Built around the “Rosé all day” culture, this particular venue now offers breakfast, lunch, dinner, happy hour, and poolside dining, with its curated menu showcasing an array of gourmet seafood creations, crafted through the freshest of ingredients. There is also a Blue Waters Bar & Grill restaurant, located by the infinity pool in the Courtyard Faro Blanco building, which provides a casual dining experience with local fresh fare, including Key West pink shrimp and fish tacos. All in all, each dining venue at Faro Blanco Resort is designed to deliver exceptional cuisine, personalized service, and a distinct ambiance of its own.
