ESR Secures $850 Million to Accelerate APAC Growth

Fresh equity boosts logistics, real estate, and data centre expansion across Asia-Pacific

Singapore, 9 April 2026 – ESR, a leading Asia-Pacific real asset owner and manager, has raised US$850 million in new equity funding, marking a strong step forward in its long-term growth journey. The investment comes from existing shareholders, reflecting continued confidence in the company’s strategy and execution.

The newly secured capital will be used to expand ESR’s logistics real estate and data centre platforms, two sectors seeing rapid growth due to increasing e-commerce demand and digital transformation. As businesses require faster supply chains and stronger digital infrastructure, ESR is scaling its operations to meet these needs.

This funding builds on more than US$2 billion generated through asset sales and capital recycling since early 2025. By divesting non-core assets and focusing on high-growth segments, ESR has strengthened its balance sheet and simplified its portfolio.

Following its privatisation in 2025, the company has sharpened its focus on key APAC markets, including Australia, Japan, and South Korea, while expanding across India, Southeast Asia, and Greater China. These regions are witnessing strong growth in real estate investment and infrastructure development.

In simple terms, ESR is investing in modern warehouses and advanced data centres located near major cities and consumption hubs. Its logistics real estate platform serves over 1,500 customers and includes a development pipeline worth approximately US$9 billion, supporting growing demand for efficient supply chain solutions.

At the same time, ESR’s data centre platform is expanding to support increasing demand for cloud computing, AI, and digital services. The company has secured land and power to develop over 3 gigawatts of capacity across key markets.

With strong backing from global investors and a focused strategy, ESR continues to scale its platform while maintaining disciplined growth. The company aims to deliver long-term value by aligning with major industry trends and evolving market needs.
